★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 1,370 reviews · from $132

Hike Vatnajökull’s outlet glacier at Skaftafell with crampons and an English guide. Short time on ice, 3 hours of big views.

“Our guide Rick was fantastic and made sure we spent as much time as possible on the glacier. Going inside the crevasses was amazing and the hike overall was beautiful. Having done the ice cave tour from Jokulsarlon yesterday I feel that this tour gives you more for your money and was more enjoyable. The walk up to the glacier does require a moderate level of fitness, and if all members of the group are not able to keep up then you all have less time on the glacier”

“Great experience!!! We spent time with Thomas, a brilliant and passionate guy who conducted us to the glacier. The hike, despite being easy, was exciting and challenging. Do not expect to go on top, but even the chance to walk on the ice is a must-do experience in Iceland! The organization was great, with high attention to the health and safety measures, with detailed explanations given at the starting point. The guide, Thomas, was careful along all the walk, taking care of those of the group and being really inspiring with his love for the glacier. Definetly recommended!!!”

He's was so entertaining, not to mention how beautiful was the path to reach the different locations, such as the Waterfall, the stunning black beach (the best place I've seen in Iceland in my opinion), and the Glacier. He also guided us in a safe way throughout the whole trip. Really recommended, thanks so much Roberto and Team.”
